The Employee Navigator Database Manager is responsible for the strategic build,
configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of benefits administration
platform Employee Navigator, and similar systems.
This role serves as the technical backbone of enrollment operations, ensuring seamless
database performance, accurate eligibility configuration, and successful carrier
integrations (EDI/API). You will work cross-functionally with implementation, enrollment,
and service teams to deliver a technology-driven, people-focused enrollment
experience.
What success look like in this role:
Zero or near-zero critical enrollment errors during Open Enrollment
Accurate and timely database builds aligned with plan design
Successful EDI/API integrations with minimal rework
Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex discrepancies
Strong partnership with enrollment and implementation teams
High responsiveness during peak enrollment periods
Continuous improvement of processes, automation, and documentation
Experience
Minimum 2+ years experience building databases in:
○ Employee Navigator (preferred)
○ Ease, Selerix, Bswift, or similar platforms
Proven experience with:
○ EDI file feeds and API integrations
○ Benefits administration systems and workflows
Experience supporting:
○ Open Enrollment at scale
○ Multi-state or multi-client environments
